The key and the doppelganger

(Verse 1)
I searched my pockets, searched the floor,
Turned the table, slammed the door.
Where’s the key? Where did it go?
Locked inside and I don’t know.

(Verse 2)
Then I saw him standing there,
Same face, same eyes, same messy hair.
He smiled and held it in his hand,
Like a secret, like a plan.

(Chorus)
He said, "This is a dream, don’t you see?
The key unlocks your destiny.
But find the door before you wake,
Or this dream is yours to take."

(Verse 3)
I reached out, but he pulled away,
Laughing soft, like shadows play.
"The door is near, but hard to find,
Look beyond the walls of mind."

(Bridge)
I ran through halls of silver light,
Endless doors, left and right.
One was open, one was true—
But which to choose? I never knew.

(Final Chorus)
He said, "This is a dream, don’t you see?
The key unlocks your destiny.
But choose too late, and here you'll stay,
A ghost of dreams that fade away."

(Outro)
Then I woke up, gasping deep,
Key in hand, but was it real?
The door still lingers in my mind—
Somewhere waiting, lost in time.
